Every case on this site is public and documented. If you want to check something, challenge something, or write about it, we would rather hear from you than not.

Any outlet, any format. Members will answer any question about their own cases — every document is public and nothing is off limits. We can put you in touch with any of the forty-three, and with counsel where they consent.
Lawyers and academics
If you practise federal criminal or appellate law, or study clemency, we would value your read — including a critical one. These cases raise questions about grand jury review, charging discretion and sentencing disparity that we would like tested by someone with no stake in them.
Corrections
If any statement on this site does not match the record, tell us what and where. We will check it against the document and correct it. That standard applies to every page here.

What we cannot do
We are not lawyers and this site is not legal advice. We cannot review anyone's case, advise on a petition, or take on new cases — this group is forty-three people who found each other and documented what happened to them. If you are facing a federal prosecution, speak to a licensed attorney or your federal public defender.
No one here is paid. Everything on this site was built and funded by the people asking. We read everything that comes in, but we are doing this alongside jobs, families and, for some of us, supervision conditions — so replies can take time.
